Convergence Tax Solutions provides individuals and small businesses with personalized, professional tax services at an affordable price.
With more than 40 years of combined tax planning and preparation experience, our seasoned team of tax specialists offers a consultative approach to your specific tax needs. And because we understand that each personal or business situation is unique, we don’t believe in “cookie-cutter, one-size-fits-all” tax solutions. Meet the Team
Robert Braun
President
Robert is a graduate of Lawrence University where he majored in Economics with a minor in Mathematics. Prior to graduation, he interned and subsequently joined an affiliated Broker Dealer. Over 13 years, he held numerous management roles with the firm. In 2019, Robert decided to join LPL Financial through the affiliated Hybrid RIA Convergence Financial, LLC. This decision was driven by the desire to offer clients independent investment advice, while still holding true to the financial planning values which have been the foundation of his work.
In Robert’s free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Shannon, and their three boys, Kevin, Dustin and Oliver. You can often find them at the ice rink where Robert is the coach for his two oldest sons.
Robert is also actively involved in the local community by way of Apple Valley Rotary – Vocational Services Chair and Foundation Board, Apple Valley Chamber of Commerce, and Eagan Hockey Association Board of Directors.
Debbie Johnson
Tax Advisor
Debbie’s mission has always been to build long term client relationship based on trust and personal attention to individual needs. She has over 20 years of experience in tax planning and preparation. Having served the interests of thousands of clients, she is focused on identifying issues before they evolve into problems and exploring tax strategies. She takes a proactive approach to tax planning and delivers timely advice for her clients.
Outside of work, Debbie enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching the grandkids play hockey, and volunteering. She is highly regarded, respected, and actively involved in her community.
Lori Ferrera
Tax Advisor
Lori is an accomplished, highly organized and well-respected tax advisor. She has over 15 years of experience in tax preparation and planning and enjoys working closely with clients in tax planning and exploring tax strategies. She understands her clients’ personal priorities and goals and she assists her clients with making the best decisions. She is passionate about learning new things, staying up to date with the latest tax law developments and applying them proactively to client’s specific cases. Lori is a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals.
As a mother of three and grandmother of three, when Lori is not working, she loves spending time with family, walking around lakes with friends, paddleboarding and skiing.
Lori Cole
Operations Manager
Delivering outstanding customer service and building relationships has always been an essential part of Lori’s background. As the Operations Manager at Convergence Financial & Tax, she is responsible for all office procedures, and uses her organizational skills to ensure smooth operations in an often-busy work environment. Lori says she regularly finds herself drawing on her entrepreneurial skills to ensure each client has an exceptional experience.
Prior to joining the Convergence team, Lori owned her own wedding and event décor business for almost 2 decades. She enjoys working at Convergence because of the shared vision to achieve excellence by always working in the client’s best interest.
When not at work, Lori enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and walks with her three Chihuahuas.
